I am right with God – He is right with me
Can you say you are right with God? Do you believe God is right with you? He says in the His word that He loves you and excepts you, and He dwells in you when you are His child.
David, the shepherd, the king
David knew whose He was. The bible says, he was a man after God’s own heart, yet he murdered a man who was under his authority. Even in that horrid deed he knew. David knew whatever he did God would not forsake Him. We have Jesus and are sealed with the Holy Spirit, God will not forsake us.
David was NOT a saint living after Jesus’ resurrection, but He knew God was with him. He said you have searched me and known me, David knew where ever he went God was there. He knew he could not flee from God’s presence. Fearing no evil because God is with him. How much more we have because the Holy Spirit lives inside of us.
How right?
I follow Jesus, and sin no longer separates me from God. Jesus’ relationship with God the Father is perfect. He says as He is so are we in this world, which means I am with God. When Jesus was here on earth, He was filled with the Spirit. We have the Spirit all the time. God is with me where ever I go. Sin can hinder what I receive from God, but it does not separate me from Him.
Being Right with God
Recognizing who we were and who He is makes us right. Calling on the Lord makes us right. Abiding with Him makes us right. To know and to believe the love that God has for us makes us right. God is close to you and when you pray, read, and meditate with Him you are right with Him.
